I’m Back

After discontinuing my blog, I have decided to begin blogging again. I am currently working on many blog posts that I hope you will find interesting! I will be talking about topics like advertising, web hosting, and page rank! Check back soon!

BlogRush Unveils Phase 2

BlogRush, a fast growing blog network, has now unleashed phase 2 of its overall website. BlogRush has only been available for a month and has seen enormous growth in the number of users on its network. When BlogRush first started off, it barely had any features besides placing a widget in your blog and hoping for traffic. Many users however were receiving little or no traffic. These latest improvements are meant to help you gain more traffic and help you better analyze your traffic statistics.

The whole dashboard (which is where you get to keep track of your stats from your blogs) has been completely remade to show a lot more detailed information. Now you can see how many times your blog is shown across the network and how many times people click on a link to your blog. All your blog posts will now have a “temperature” i.e. hot, cold, warm, to show how much activity your post is receiving.

You can also customize reports to be able to view data within certain date ranges. Low traffic members will receive a bost in traffic as well, besides the boost that they are already offering.

Members who signed up earlier might have noticed the lack of categories available to place your blog in. Now they offer lots more categories. They have also been working hard to get rid of the cheaters on their network who try to receive traffic without giving any in return. With their now enhanced widget performance monitoring, if you do not drive enough traffic, you lose your BlogRush privileges. They will warn you if you are at risk of losing your BlogRush privileges.

Besides this whole major Phase 2 update, they plan on adding more features and widget customization. They also have an upcoming release called TrafficJam.com, which will instantly benifit all BlogRush members, but they have yet to release more information about that.

Yahoo Search Gets An Upgrade

Yahoo hasn’t given up in its fight for recognition as a top search engine, and it has been shown greatly with their latest improvements. The first improvement you may notice is the drop down menu that comes with your search results. It provides suggested terms as well as other related concepts that may be popular in relation to what you are searching.

Also, they have integrated images and videos into their search results. You longer have to leave the search page to view photos or videos because they are now integrated into your search results. You can also expect to notice that some of the answers you are looking for may be found on the search page directly.

This is the beginning in what seems to be a complete revamp of Yahoo! Search. Be sure to expect many more updates within the next few months.
